While Charles was experiencing success in the private sector, he has consistently served his community. As the president of the state’s fastest growing youth sports program at the time, he was recognized by local and state officials for his work and contributions to the community. In 2012, he was called upon to chair a campaign to raise 5 million dollars for a local non-profit and in 2016 and then founded a 501(c)3 that has been responsible for funding scholarships, while providing essential resources to high school student athletic programs.
